| Technical note on maps and legends To access the real map, click on the map square. Your browser should open a new window with the oversized map itself. (If you think that I'm overdoing this indication, trust me, I'm not; you should see the e-mails that I get). If you use IE 6 as your browser, please uncheck "Enable automatic image resizing", in Internet Options->Advanced-> Multimedia. Not doing so will cause your new image to be resized, and these are rather big maps and charts. These maps (and their respective legends) have not been made by a professional statistician, nor do they follow a pattern. Therefore, the legends vary from state to state, and from map to map. It would be absurd to compare the percentages of Massachusetts and Vermont with, say, North Dakota. Also, the ranges in the legend are not equal. Some have a few values, others, many. You will find this out when analyzing maps, but wanted to make it clear. You are free to use, take, copy and/or reproduce any and all maps in this site. Please respect copyright notices. All of these maps have been made with Microsoft Mappoint 2002.
